Strange Places: Paradise Valley and The Flying Saucer

I always try to make the most of nice weather. Usually I try to plan going somewhere new, historical or point of interest. Sometimes though, I only have limited time between laundry, dog wrangling and other obligations. In those cases I go for a place where I can drink and hit things.

That place is the mini golf course located within Paradise Valley golf course. It has a gold mine theme, and half of it is underground in an old mine shaft. The holes are not particularly challenging, it’s really more fun to forgo keeping score, just compete for the most holes in one. Especially if you take advantage of the fact that they serve beer.

Across the parking lot is The Flying Saucer Draught Emporium. Known for serving an endless selection of beers and delicious food, their outdoor patio is the perfect place to relax.
