When You Only Wear Black: Try Chartreuse

My wardrobe has always been filled with my two favorite colors, black and gray. Lately though, I’ve discovered a new love, chartreuse, and have been slowly slipping it into my closet. I especially love wearing it to work, it’s different and bold. Definately gives me a Slytherin vibe.

It’s not the easiest color to find, you really have to search in every store to track it down. I’ve found it in Old Navy, Ann Taylor, and various thrift stores. Check out some of the ways I’ve been wearing it, and give it chance yourself.

If you work in an office with a formal dress code, try a paler shade under a gray suit
If your office is less strict, pair a bolder shade with a tweed blazer
A hint of Chartreuse in a patterned top is another way to slip this hue into your wardrobe
A flower patterned skirt is a softer way to wear the color
